A New Wine Filling Station — August 4, 2025: From Mourning to Joy

On June 25, 2025, the Lord spoke to me through a vivid dream atop a mountain — a dream that revealed a door blocked by a rusted, broken bicycle. With His mighty right hand, Father God lifted that obstacle out of the way, clearing the path forward. This was not a message for me alone. It speaks prophetically to the entire firstfruits Bride in this hour — a sign for those preparing to move from testing into promise, from the wilderness into new life.

(For the full backstory, see my blog: From Mourning to Joy: The Cross, the Door, and the Overcoming Bride — A Prophetic Dream https://mid-trib-second-passover-rapture.blogspot.com).

The setting was striking: I was traveling westward on Interstate 40, a route rich in biblical symbolism. The number 40 in Scripture signifies seasons of testing, preparation, and transition — forty days of rain before the flood, forty years wandering in the desert, and Jesus fasting forty days in the wilderness. Westward travel points to endings and the promise of new beginnings — the setting sun giving way to a fresh dawn. This journey wasn’t random; it was a prophetic road, a shadow of what is to come.

Just like a long road trip requires periodic stops for gas, oil, and refreshment, so too does our spiritual journey demand filling stations along the way. August 4, 2025, stands as a divine rest area — a “top-off” station where the Bride receives fresh oil to keep her lamp burning and new wine to overflow her cup. It is a moment to be refueled, renewed, and empowered to keep pressing toward the ultimate destination.

Counting forward forty days from that dream brought me to August 4, 2025 — the day immediately after Tisha B’Av, the solemn fast commemorating the destruction of the Temple and the heartbreak of Israel’s history. Yet, as Zechariah assures us:

“The fasts of the fourth, fifth, seventh, and tenth months will become joyful and glad occasions and happy festivals for Judah…” (Zechariah 8:19)

Jewish tradition deeply connects this shift from mourning to joy with the agricultural cycle. The Mishnah (Taanit 4:6) records that the grape harvest — the time for new wine — begins just after the 9th of Av fast ends. The people would taste the first fruits of the new vintage, celebrating God’s faithful provision. This wasn’t just a harvest ritual but a prophetic picture of restoration and hope.

Psalm 104:15 declares simply, “Wine that gladdens the heart of man.” The prophet Joel echoes this hope: God will restore the years the locusts have eaten and fill the vats with new wine (Joel 2:24). Wine symbolizes joy, celebration, and divine empowerment.

August 4, 2025, is revealed as a hidden “new wine” filling station — a divine moment set aside for the firstfruits Bride to be filled anew. It is a time to receive fresh strength, boldness, and overflow in the Spirit — a prophetic charge for endurance and labor in the final harvest season.

Make no mistake, this is not the rapture itself. That secret, glorious ascent awaits at the appointed time of Pesach Sheni (Second Passover) on May 3, 2030 — the true midpoint of Daniel’s 70th week. Rather, August 4, 2025, is a spiritual rehearsal, a preparation point, a mini foreshadowing of that second ascent. It is the wise virgins trimming their lamps and filling their vessels with new oil and new wine. The oil keeps the flame burning; the wine overflows the cup. Both are essential for the long night ahead.

Like Moses ascending alone into the cloud during the second ascent on Sinai, so the Bride will be caught away — hidden from the eyes of the world. But before that day comes, the Father’s mighty right hand removes every obstacle and blockage — the old cycles and worn burdens that hinder spiritual progress. The door — the Hebrew letter dalet — swings open wide into a season of fresh fruitfulness.

The Cross appeared repeatedly on my road trip — a vivid reminder that it is not by human strength, power, or might but by the Spirit of God that we stand ready. It is the Cross that breaks down every barrier and paves the way for the Bride’s advance.

The 9th of Av marks destruction, loss, and mourning. But the day after marks turning, restoration, and joy. Likewise, August 4, 2025, stands as a signpost for all chosen vessels of the firstfruits company — a spiritual “top-off station,” a filling up for the race, a divine charge to press into the final days. This is not for the world at large but for the hidden remnant who watch and wait. You know who you are.

The Jewish sages believe the Messiah is often hidden within the sorrow of Tisha B’Av, just as the new wine is hidden right behind the tears. The fast becomes a feast, the mourning becomes dancing, the old cycles break, and the door swings wide open to fresh fruitfulness.

May we not labor with old, stale oil or drained, empty cups — or rusted old bicycles blocking the way. Instead, may we be fully topped off — lamps trimmed, hearts aflame, and vessels overflowing. The pattern is clear and unchanging: the door is open, the Cross removes every obstacle, and the Bridegroom draws near.

The new wine is ready on August 4, 2025. Taste and see that He is faithful to turn our mourning into joy.

Hallelujah!
