A Glimpse of Heaven: A Sacred Vision, A Spiritual Translation

A Glimpse of Heaven: A Sacred Vision, A Spiritual Translation

On 11/2/2024, I had the honor of attending a cousin’s wedding on my wife’s side. This was the day I’d been looking forward to ever since 10/17, as the Lord had revealed this timeframe to me. It had been a while since my wife and I shared an evening out, and we had a wonderful time together.

The Lord has a way of making His presence felt in ways that surprise us. Let me share just a few of those moments.

The wedding was held outdoors, with the altar placed in the center of a stunning structure made entirely of mirrors, forming a perfect cube. I’ve long pictured New Jerusalem as a tesseract—a heavenly cube crossing into our earthly dimension. To see this marriage take place within such a reflective space felt like no coincidence; it was as if the vows were exchanged right within the walls of New Jerusalem itself. “And I saw the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, made ready as a bride adorned for her husband.” (Revelation 21:2)

As the bride and groom spoke their vows, a gentle drizzle began to fall—a sign that reminded me of the latter rain, something the Lord has been revealing with great clarity. It hadn’t rained in weeks, and for it to start just then was truly a blessing. “He will come to us like the rain, like the latter and former rain to the earth.” (Hosea 6:3)

During my 14-day water fast which I completed three days prior, one of the things I missed and craved the most was green guava with salt and chili. Out of the blue, a family member I hadn’t seen in seven months came up to me at the wedding and said she’d brought some green guava with salt and chili to share. The Lord knew this small desire of my heart, and His kindness was unmistakable. “Before they call, I will answer; while they are still speaking, I will hear.” (Isaiah 65:24) I was amazed yet again by His attention to even the smallest details of our lives.

Thank You, Lord, for making Your presence known in such tender ways. It was a beautiful, unforgettable evening, and I’ll carry this memory with me always. You were right there with us. “You make known to me the path of life; in Your presence there is fullness of joy.” (Psalm 16:11)

This event was far more than a celebration. It was a spiritual translation—an experience where the Lord revealed His throne room and the marriage supper of the Lamb as part of my anointing. This moment wasn’t merely a prophetic sign; it was a divine appointment, aligning me with a long tradition of biblical encounters where heaven and earth intersect.

John’s vision of the throne room is perhaps the most striking parallel: "Immediately I was in the Spirit; and behold, a throne was standing in heaven, and One sitting on the throne" (Revelation 4:2). Like John, I too found myself in the Spirit, caught up in a vision that transcended time and space, bringing me face to face with the divine. What I witnessed was not a mere dream or fanciful thought; it was a tangible encounter with the heavenly realm—a confirmation of my divine calling.

The wedding took place within a mirrored cube, a symbol that immediately evoked the image of New Jerusalem as described in Revelation 21:18: “The material of the wall was jasper; and the city was pure gold, like clear glass.” The mirrored nature of the cube reflected the perfect, divine structure of the heavenly city, a place where God's glory dwells. Stepping into it felt like being transported into the very heart of God’s eternal plan. This was no ordinary room; it was a spiritual gateway, symbolizing New Jerusalem, the city of God’s eternal dwelling with His people. This scene echoed the promise found in Revelation 21:2, where the bride, adorned for her husband, is brought into the presence of the Lamb.

As the ceremony unfolded, the rain began to fall—a sign not just of the physical weather, but of a profound spiritual outpouring. In biblical terms, rain represents God’s blessing, His provision, and the renewal of His Spirit. The latter rain, specifically, is the outpouring that precedes the great harvest, the final gathering of souls before Christ’s return. In that moment, as the rain fell, it was as if God Himself was blessing the union, preparing both the individuals and the world for a divine harvest. It was a reminder that His Spirit is always at work, renewing and refreshing His people in preparation for what’s to come.

The elements I encountered that night—guava, chili, and salt—were not merely incidental; they carried deep spiritual symbolism, each reflecting aspects of the heavenly throne room described in Revelation.

  • Green Guava: The vibrant green of the guava mirrored the emerald hue surrounding God’s throne. “And there was a rainbow around the throne, like an emerald in appearance” (Revelation 4:3). This connection highlighted that the experience was not just a vision but a real encounter with the divine. The green guava symbolized the refreshing and life-giving presence of God’s throne, where eternal life is promised to those who are faithful.
  • Fiery Chili: The chili’s fiery red mirrored the sardius stone, symbolizing the fiery holiness of God and His righteous judgment. “He who was sitting was like a jasper stone and a sardius in appearance” (Revelation 4:3). This fiery imagery calls to mind both God’s purity and the consuming nature of His presence, a reminder of His holiness and the judgment that accompanies His righteousness.
  • Salt: Salt, throughout Scripture, is a symbol of covenant and purity. Jesus said, “You are the salt of the earth” (Matthew 5:13), reminding us of our role as preservers of truth. The salt in this vision signified God’s enduring covenant with His people, a promise that was sealed and affirmed in this encounter.

Even the phrase “out of the blue,” which described the unexpected arrival of the guava, held spiritual significance. The color blue in Scripture is often associated with heaven, with divine revelation, and the glory of God. "Now above the expanse that was over their heads there was something resembling a throne, like lapis lazuli in appearance" (Ezekiel 1:26). The spontaneous arrival of the guava, “out of the blue,” symbolized God’s divine orchestration—His ability to reveal the heavens at His will, in His perfect timing. This was not a random event, but one designed by God to draw me closer to His purposes.

This moment was not just a spiritual experience; it was a divine confirmation of my first-fruit anointing. Just as the prophets of old were called up to heaven and shown the mysteries of God’s kingdom, I too was given a vision of what lies ahead—the marriage supper of the Lamb, the throne of God, and the divine unity that awaits all believers. "Blessed are those who are invited to the marriage supper of the Lamb" (Revelation 19:9). As I witnessed these heavenly realities, it was a profound reminder that heaven is not far away—it is a present reality for those whom God calls. Through these symbols—the mirrored cube, the rain, the guava, chili, and salt—God revealed His covenant, His holiness, and His divine plan, reaffirming my calling and the blessings He has prepared. This experience, like those of the prophets, was a confirmation that God's promises are not only for the future but are manifesting in the present, transforming the ordinary into the extraordinary. The throne room of God is not a distant concept; it is a living reality, revealed to those who seek Him with all their heart. "In Your presence is fullness of joy; at Your right hand are pleasures forevermore" (Psalm 16:11).

I have seen a glimpse of the kingdom, and the Lord has made it clear—His presence, His glory, and His covenant are here, now, among us.

Amen
